Policies & Disclaimers

Sweet Sugar Crumbs operates under the Texas Cottage Food law. This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the department of State Health Services or local Health department. Sweet Sugar crumbs holds a Food handler certificate required for operations. WE DO NOT SHIP. It is illegal to ship baked goods under the Texas Cottage Law.

Our Sugar Cookie contains the following allergens- EGGS, DAIRY, WHEAT, NUTS

Each order can be heat sealed for freshness but must be requested at order confirmation- ribbon is also available at an extra cost, pricing varies, so please contact me with details. 

 

-Price quotes are given on case by case basis. Every order is unique and requires different amount of detail.

-SSC does require a $20 nonrefundable deposit to ensure your date is secured on my calendar. An invoice will be sent out when you book your order and the invoice must be paid within 24 hours of receiving it. Order total needs to be paid in full a week prior to baking/making of your Sweets. If orders are not paid at-least 7 days before your date, the order will be cancelled and you will not receive the deposit back. Orders are NOT confirmed and NOT started without payment in full. We accept Major Credit & Debit cards, no cash. 

 

-Custom Orders need to be booked at least 6-8 weeks in advance. If you need them any sooner, please email me directly to check my availability for that week! A Rush Fee may apply, if I am already booked. I usually book about 2-3 month in advance. I also do not take custom orders the week/weekend before a major holidays ex. Valentines, Easter, Mothers Day etc. November and December of every year will be closed for customs. I used this time to focus on Holidays with the Family and take a little break. I do however offer holiday sales- Elf on the Shelf, Thanksgiving & Christmas.
 

-Heat sealing is available for an additional $5 per package, please note that when heat sealing hand painted gold it will dry as a dust and runs the risk of smearing in the bag.

-Although we strive to execute every color hue and design desired it cannot always be done. We do however, create a design you and your guest will love!


-I do not provide samples but I do offer Holiday Sets throughout the year, that are priced very reasonable if you'd like to Taste them before placing a big custom order.

-Customers that are a No Call/No Show, or do not pay invoices on time, will result in a refusal of service or payment in full to place a future order. 

 

-Order pick-up; All orders are to be picked up in Porter or Houston. Pick up date is the date stated on your invoice unless otherwise stated. I will email/ text a few days in advance to confirm pick up time and location. 

-Deliveries are done case by case as well. There is an additional fee that must be paid before the transit begins. You can pay via Paypal.

 

-Cancellation/Refund Policy for Orders:  50% of your order is a deposit that is NON-Refundable, but it IS transferable, as long as you give a 14 Day notice. After the 14 days your deposit is Non-Refundable and Nontransferable.  Please do understand that I am a One-Woman show, and a lot of time and heart goes into each order to plan and execute the design!

Sweet Sugar Crumbs reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for any reason.
